Controls Loose Wheel Nuts and Prevents wheel-Offs

SafetyTrim's unique solution is the only complete wheel nut management system that visually indicates a loose wheel nut. When this situation occurs, the system simultaneously "Locks" the loose nut in place until it can be properly re-tightened in the workshop. In operation, the wheel safety ring is simply pressed on to the wheel studs. Safetytrims are available for all wheel configurations from light vans to heavy duty trucks.
How it works
The system consists of an integrated safety ring for each wheel. The assembly includes nut covers and individual nut movement indicators and a locking device which are mechanically connected. Immediately upon installation each individual nut is monitored. When a problem nut loosens and backs off the wheel stud beyond a quarter turn an individual "Yellow" alert window warns operators of the loose nut. The "Yellow" alert warning indicator simultaneously locks and holds the loose nut in place until corrective action can be taken. SafetyTrim supports proper maintenance of wheel nuts. After installation of the patented safety ring, always follow good preventative maintenance procedures to achieve the highest wheel safety rating:
- See at-a-glance when a wheel nut is backing off
- Feel secure when nuts are in a locked position
- Conduct a planned predictive maintenance program at regular intervals - routine wheel inspection and maintenance and conduct all re-torquing checks to manufacturer's specifications.
